WELCOME BACK TO GOLD’S GYM!
We have gone to great lengths to provide a safe fitness experience for our members and team members. We will continue to diligently disinfect our gym facilities as well as comply with all state and county guidelines to continue to operate the finest, cleanest, and safest health club. Every member, guest, and employee is family, and we take care of our family first and foremost.
Step 1 of Opening:
Please note that Step 1 will be TEMPORARY. As guidelines change and we navigate through re-opening, we will adjust the schedule and policies accordingly. We will not require sign ups to workout unless it is deemed necessary.
Club Hours During Step 1 of Re-opening:
- Monday – Friday: 5:00am to 9:00pm with a 1 hour intermission closure from 2-3 for complete sanitizing
- Saturday & Sunday 8:00am – 3:00 pm
Please understand that this is temporary after 5 months of closure. We have to do this safely and within our means. Trust us that we would like to return to “normal” as much as you.
Member/Staff Safety Policies & Rules
Effective September 1 In accordance with the protocols and mandates required by NJ and applicable to the operation of all fitness centers, the following rules/policies have been adopted and apply to all Gold’s Gym Bridgewater members, guests, and employees, until further notice.
- Capacity: 25% of maximum.
- Normal check-in required with current and accurate contact information. Check OUT is also required as our system keeps track of capacity. Members with a scheduled appointment will have priority as they are on a schedule with their Trainer.
- Temperature checks and a short health screening will be required upon every check in. Any member with a temperature over 100.4, experiencing symptoms or having traveled to states requiring quarantine will not be permitted in the club.
- All members will be given a towel and disenfectent bottle upon entry. Please use that to clean the equipment.
- Please limit workouts to one per day, no more than 90 minutes during Step 1
Guests: Guests are not permitted in Step 1.
Face Masks: Due to mandate, masks must be worn AT ALL TIMES by everyone, including during exercise or activities in the club. This applies to all persons in any part of the facility.
Distancing: All persons will maintain a minimum of 6 feet of separation at all times while in the premises. For this reason, we have distanced all fitness equipment 6 feet throughout the club with a few exceptions where available space for equipment is tighter. Please be conscious of 6 feet distancing rule at all times.
Hygiene/Cleaning: Equipment throughout the gym must be cleaned and sanitized after every use. Please use the provided towel and bottle and drop off at the desk on your way out. Cleaning and disinfectant supplies are also readily available throughout the entire club.
Group Exercise: Due to the requirements of masks 100% of the time and 200 square foot member space requirements, we will not open indoor GGX during Step 1. We will continue our online classes at GGX Live on Facebook as well as ramp up our outdoor schedule as needed. Please also note that as a member you have access to Gold’s Gym On-Demand on our member app or with Golds Gym Anywhere.
Locker Rooms & Showers: Showers are temporarily out of service but will reopen when clearance is given by the state of NJ. As per the state mandate, members should arrive dressed to workout and bring their own hand towel, mat, boxing gloves, bands, etc. Automatic Hand Dryers & Hair Dryers are unavailable at this time. We ask that if you need to bring a gym bag, you keep it with you at all times. Bags and items cannot be left on window sills and counters. Lockers will be available according to 6′ mandate.
Kids Club: Will be closed during Step 1.
Shake Bar and Coolers: Shakes, cooler drinks, water and bars are available. Pre pay by credit card is preferred.
Water Fountains: Are closed due to mandate.
Air Handling Systems (HVAC): All AC Units have been replaced or upgraded in accordance with the highest safety standards including the installation of air scrubbers and UV lighting.
Health & Safety Code of Conduct: For everyone’s safety, all members and staff are required to follow a new SAFETY CODE OF CONDUCT while using the club. The code of conduct is posted below and will be made available for all members and staff upon check-in. It is also posted throughout the club.
Repeated failure to adhere to policies and procedures may result in membership suspension
